We celebrate the vibrant traditions of English country, American contra, and Playford-style dances—styles you may recognize from films like Pride and Prejudice. Each session is led by experienced callers and often accompanied by live music, adding to the authenticity and fun of the experience.

Whether you're completely new to folk dancing or a seasoned dancer, our group is perfect for you. Every dance is ‘walked through’ first to ensure everyone is comfortable with the moves before it’s called, making it easy for newcomers to join in.

 

We pride ourselves on being a friendly and inclusive community where changing partners with each dance gives you the chance to meet and dance with new people. No need to bring a partner—just come along and enjoy the dance!
